A personality trait that you can spot out from this video is that I am a big bookworm. I am a bibliomaniac , every time I go to the bookstore I have to buy a book before leaving. I am also an athletic person. I love playing soccer and when I don't I like to go running. Somethings that were not shown in the video is that I am a very naturalistic, I love beaches and mountains. I am a brave person I like taking risks, the only thing I am scared of are snakes. They I horrify me, even if I see a picture I feel like its going to come out and eat me up. Another trait I have is am gregarious, I can't stay at home for a long time I get super bored.
Major influences in my life are my parents and friends. My dad always told me to read and suggested books all the time. Then I read the Harry Potter series and I have loved reading since. My dad also made me brave and strong, he thought me how to face my fears and to not be so sensitive. I have a huge family because my mother has like 7 brothers and sisters, and we are all very close. I am a huge family person, I love spending time with my family. My friends, well I don't know what I would do without them. They help me in various occasions and influence me not only in school, but outside as well. My friends have made me a more confident person, without them I wouldn't be able to make silly mistakes and laugh about it later on.
This project was exasperating, tiresome, maddening! It made me feel obnoxious. Like everyone else I spent my week working hard on my project, juggling between homework, soccer, and the project. Finally on Sunday evening I finnish it. I started to celebrate, then when it came time to export the movie, my iMovie quit unexpectedly. I got a bit tensed, however I tried again, and again, and again. I got frustrated and went to school the next day hoping I would have luck over there, but I didn't. I went to the technology person and he said that I would have to start again. So, having no other choice I did it again, carefully doing all my steps and luckily when I completely finished it the file exported! I felt so exhilarated I went around everywhere singing I had finished my video. Even though this project was hard, the best part according to me is when we looked for pictures. I got to go down memory lane. I looked through all the old pictures of my parents, my childhood, my cousins, everyone. So, even though the project was stressful like everything else it also had a positive impact.

ReplyDeleteI watched your video, and I saw that you’re not much of an isolated person. I can tell that you have a lot of friends that support you and that you are very close to your family. You’re also really into books! I liked how you zoomed into the parts of pictures that had a lot of meaning, like when you had a group photo of your soccer team, you zoomed in on yourself. Also, you zoomed in on the shopping bag when there was a picture of a woman carrying a shopping bag. I also liked how your pictures fit in with the music. It went very well with the rhythm of the songs. I loved the part from the nationality category where you showed how you went from India to Thailand (2:15). One suggestion I would make is that you should have fade – in and fade – out effects for your songs so that it flows smoothly. Some of the songs played abruptly and it was a bit uncomfortable to hear.
ReplyDeleteStill, great video! :D
I think your video was Awesome, Vicky!!! You had lots of pictures that describes you, and it was very specific. I particularly liked the family, friend, and your nationality the most because every pictures fit into your music. When i see pictures of you with your family i can easily understand that you are in a good contact with your family. Also I can see that you have lots of friends. Some pictures in the friend category was very interesting and funny. The pictures i liked the most was when each of you and your friends was reading a book with their legs crossed. XD I really enjoyed watching your video. It was a great time to learn and know about you more. Nice work!!
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky!
ReplyDeleteI get to know you much better after watching your video. In my opinion, I personally like the part where the song matches with the picture at around 0.34 - 0.44. You put a smile on my face! Also, you have variety kinds of songs whether its rock, pop, or instrumental (like the cultural song you used at 2.20). In addition, your pictures were really clear and easy to understand especially for the categories media and hobbies. Without reading your description about the video, I can tell that you love to read books and is a bookworm straight away because all of the pictures! I agree with Jan about the fading in and out effect for the songs. Other than that, I think your video is outstanding!

Vicky, your video was just amazing! I love how many photos of your friends and family you put, which show how close you are to them. I like the song you put for your nationality and the cultural pictures were really meaninguful to me. I felt that the transitions could be smoother because sometimes, the pictures had no background song as they were the last of the cataegory. I also like two technological parts of the video, one where you showed the transition from Bangalore to Bangkok. Another one,is the title page where the cover of the book is a question mark. I love the family photos where you all are wearing Indian clothes and the one where you are standing infronr of the Taj Mahal, because it gives me a wider knowledge about your nationality. I truely loved your video!!:)
